The story of CHIKA CHAKA

CHIKA CHAKA was inspired by our own children as a way to engage in what we call “an imagination based action game” One rainy afternoon we invented the game as an option to the usual videos and it was a hit!
Next thing we knew, the neighborhood kids were coming over to play and it eventually became a party favorite.
We believe positive play, active imagination and happy smiles are what being a kid is all about.

We are M&M
M&M Funky Stuff is Mike and Melissa Giles.
The Giles’ founded the company in early 2019 but only entered the toy business in the fall of 2023.
Although the business has included various brands,
CHIKA CHAKA is our flagship product in the toy market.
Our ultimate goal is to promote responsible, thoughtful and interactive play. CHIKA CHAKA combines these core values with a whole bunch of fun.

Mike gained his experience as a production artist and executive for Malibu Comics, Marvel Entertainment, Klasky Csupo, and Rough Draft. He has also illustrated many licensed children’s books over the years and is now taking the next step into the toy market.
Give her anything business and she can do it, but all she really wants to do is play with her toys. Melissa is a seasoned executive with years of experience in some of the most challenging arenas of the corporate world. As a self described “kid at heart” Melissa loves to create art and music but can run a business like Oprah.
Teamed up, Mike and Melissa enter the crazy world of toys with the introduction of CHIKA CHAKA from M&M Funky Stuff LLC.
