The story of CHIKA CHAKA
Welcome to M&M Funky Stuff, the creative home of Chika Chaka — a world where imagination, movement, and laughter come together through play!
Founded by Mike and Melissa Giles, Chika Chaka began as a homemade game created to get kids up, moving, and using their imaginations. What started with a single foam cube has grown into a joyful universe of interactive games, storybooks, plush characters, and animated adventures — all designed to inspire creativity, connection, and fun for everyone.
At M&M Funky Stuff, our mission is simple: to make products that bring smiles, movement, and imagination into every home, classroom, and playroom. Whether you roll the cube, read a story, or meet one of our Fuzzy Chums, every Chika Chaka moment is a chance to play, learn, and grow — together.
We believe positive play, active imagination and happy smiles are what being a kid is all about.

We are M&M
M&M Funky Stuff is Mike and Melissa Giles.
The Giles’ founded the company in early 2019 but only entered the toy business in the fall of 2023.
Although the business has included various brands,
CHIKA CHAKA is our flagship product in the toy market.
Our ultimate goal is to promote responsible, thoughtful and interactive play. CHIKA CHAKA combines these core values with a whole bunch of fun.

Mike gained his experience as a production artist and executive for Malibu Comics, Marvel Entertainment, Klasky Csupo, and Rough Draft. He has also illustrated many licensed children’s books over the years and is now taking the next step into the toy market.
Give her anything business and she can do it, but all she really wants to do is play with her toys. Melissa is a seasoned executive with years of experience in some of the most challenging arenas of the corporate world. As a self described “kid at heart” Melissa loves to create art and music but can run a business like Oprah.
Teamed up, Mike and Melissa enter the crazy world of toys with the introduction of CHIKA CHAKA from M&M Funky Stuff LLC.
