Snakes have no ears or eyelids, but they can feel vibrations in the ground to know when something is nearby.

A male horse is a stallion, and a female horse is a mare. A baby horse is called a foal.

People used horses to get around before there were cars.

Because of their long feet and large tail, kangaroos can’t walk or hop backwards.

Baby kangaroos – called joeys – are the size of a jellybean at birth! After they’re born, they climb up their mother’s bellies into a comfy pouch to grow for another six months before emerging to greet the world.
