• Horses make faces– mainly their eyes and ears – to communicate with each other.

• They are the tallest of all marsupials, standing over 6 feet tall.

• Because of their long feet and large tail, kangaroos can’t walk or hop backwards. 

• Baby kangaroos – called joeys – are the size of a jellybean at birth! After they’re born, they climb up their mother’s bellies into a comfy pouch to grow for another six months before emerging to greet the world.
